Necessary:

mock: max it
lvl 1 mock is NOT enough, it cant draw agro from a 35+ wizard, this (with circle) is the most important.

Other things to get:

Windmill/skyslitting chop: with these youll deal damage (uuh) and both skills generate hate. I got windmill, cause i got equip spear too. 3 rd important skill.
Arrow formation: + phis att helps.
Crane formation: + mag attack. I like this more than arrow, cause in your party the bigest damage dealers will be magic users.So bonus damage to them will increase overall damage more. (You'd better to buy DOMO gold ^^)

Useless:
 
Goose: Arrow is better, get it just to be able to get arrow
Dustpan: since the merc got low mag def, this skill will not help enough to be able to tank magic enemies.
Snake: havent seen anyone using it.

full dura is not good, with added agi+muse buffs the enemes will miss you 30-70% thats waaay better than minus 5-10 damage. And youll save your armor too.

And always wear the best set for your DOMO power leveling, a 35 merc with lvl 30 heavy set is a failure.

1. Alchemy:

The ability to construct items from recipes that you have learned when in possession of the appropriate materials in DOMO. Recipes can be received from quests, collected from blue alchemy jars, bought from NPCs/players or stolen from monsters. Different collected materials and monster dropped items are needed to build the various items, in addition to a requisite Alchemy level as indicated in the recipe's description.

2. Note:

a) Most, if not all, monster dropped items can be purchased from a Marshall NPC. Collected materials can not be bought from a Marshall and must be either harvested normally or bought from another player.

b) Buy the cheapest DOMO gold and DOMO power leveling from Goldceo. ^^

3. Farming:

The ability to collect different vegetation. Useful for building HP and MP recovery items.

4. Fishing:

The ability to collect different oceanic products. Useful for building HP and MP recovery items.

5. Forestry:

The ability to collect various types of wood. Useful for building and upgrading Batons, Bows, Boxing Gloves, Cloth Armor, Daggers/Knives and Staves.

6. Herding:

The ability to collect various animal products. (goldceo.com)Useful for building and upgrading Dancer's Armor, Musical Instruments, Robes, Syringes and Wands.

7. Meditation:

The ability to collect various meditation stones. Useful for building and upgrading elemental weapons.

8. Mining:

The ability to collect various metals. Useful for building and upgrading Axes, Heavy Armor, Light Armor, Polearms/Spears, Sabers, Shields and Swords.

Mock: max it

Spear Skills:

Circle-Formation: max lvl
Goose-Formation: lvl 4 (never use it thou)
Arrow-Formation: max lvl (requires goose)
Dustpan-Formation: lvl 4 at the start (later max if u want)
Crane-Formation: max lvl (requires dustpan)

Note: You can only cast 1 defensive and 1 offensive Formation at a time. Buy DOMO gold and DOMO powerleveling.

Standart casts: circle-arrow/circle-crane
Wicked-Windmill: max lvl (to help keeping the aggro)

Axe Skills:

Taunt: lvl 3
Mock Monsters: max lvl (requires Taunt) and for those who dont know: NO u dont need an axe for taunt or mock 

There are skills u can get later, like Dustpan to maximum lvl might not be too important cause its for magic defence and u cant cast it at the same time as circle.(goldceo.com) i only maxed it cause i had the points and i might try t tank on magic mobs as soon as dragons den is out.
Cross Chop is a higher dmg skill then Wicked Windmill and also takes aggro. so if u want to take this after u maxed wicked too, but remember u need an axe to use this skill.

Well, here is a durability-tank experience from aDOMO player, I collected it from here. If you have more info, just post here, and dont forget to buy DOMO gold and DOMO powerleveling. ^^

Jobs here are: Martial-Artist, Hunter, Thief, Commoner (Hunter and theif can use this stat-build too.)

stating here is:
2 Durability, 1 Agility (agility of 70-75 is enough)

Here Armor is worth more then Evasion.(goldceo.com) You will take low dmg and have mid-high evasion.

With this stating u will get high Defence which will make u supper less from hits and u will have quite a good evasion.

The cooldown:
The cool down here will get to a normal or slighty faster cooldown.
(normal = standart merc cooldown)

Martial-Artist-tank skills:
I didnt use any MA skills Oo

Commoner-tank skills:
I love inner magic as tank so sub doc to it too !!! ^^
You can sub Shaman Skills to the Defencive skills for Mega Magic to boost ur Max MP if u want, or if u dont have a doc take thief or shaman to regen ur mp.
